Gregg Azzopardi is an animation veteran with over 30 years of professional experience in the feature film, television, commercial, and video game industry since starting at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Some of his screen credits as an animator include: “Lilo and Stitch”, ”Legend of Mulan”, ”Brother Bear”, ”Pocahontas”, “Hunchback of Notre Dame”, “And Tarzan” .and has worked in the video game industry on some titles including Star Wars Battlefront, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and Call of Duty. Azzopardi was a Co-Founder of Project Firefly Animation Studios, a full-service animation studio providing 2-D and 3-D animation, artwork for theatrical and video releases, television series, commercials, interactive/internet media, children’s books, and educational products. Azzopardi oversaw productions from clients such as The Walt Disney Company, Walt Disney Internet Group, American Greetings, Universal Studios Creative, and Universal Pictures for the film “Curious George”.
For the last 15 years, Gregg Azzopardi has served as a Professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design where draws upon his background as a 2D and 3D character animator and animation studio start-up experience to produce original content with his top-selected students for clients such as Sesame Workshop, Adult Swim, Herschend Entertainment and The Harlem Globetrotters through his SCAD Pro classes!
