Assignment #4-7 Production

A vital part of production is project assessment.  You are responsible for assessing both the current state of your film and the projected timeline for completion.  Typically this includes establishing milestones used for ongoing assessment and critique.

As part of this class, you will be creating an assessment package containing a project schedule which establishes 3 major milestones.   To assist in time management, these milestone dates have been set for you.  It is up to you to determine the state of your project and what you will be able to deliver on each milestone.  Be very careful in your assessment.  Once you schedule a milestone, you will be expected to deliver exactly what you’ve promised.

Try to plan your production for each week of the quarter, using the three milestones as checkpoints.  Remember to be ambitious, but also realistic.  Consider what you have to deliver on the final date and plan your increments accordingly.

Remember:  THE PROFESSOR MUST APPROVE YOUR MILESTONES.  If your milestones are not ambitious enough or not realistic, you will have to make changes to your milestones.
